Kabibi’s Journey

Kabibi once lived in despair, uncertain of what tomorrow would bring. Her words capture the depth of her transformation:

“My status before I got this house—I had already lost hope. But now my hopes with life have been restored. I sleep in a house with solar electricity and I am not paying a bill. I live in this new home with my children: Baraka (22), Lucy (19, married with newborn baby), Aisha (18), Zulfa (16, Grade 9), and Ali (12, Grade 3). The house, toilet, bathroom, and bicycle came as a big blessing. We are thinking about our future with a refreshed mind.”

A Home That Brings Dignity

Today, Kabibi’s family enjoys solar-powered light, secure rooms, and the dignity of proper facilities. Her children can study at night, her family rests in safety, and their future feels brighter than ever. What was once a life of uncertainty has become a story of resilience, joy, and restored hope.
