Since we can’t feed the community forever, Asante Aid with your kind donation has a plan of digging boreholes to be used for irrigation farming and ensuring they get the correct fertilizers and food crops, we have a team that will work closely with the community to help teach them how to farm using the borehole to ensure the project is successful and they can get their food in future without relying on donors,  Promoting sustainable agricultural practices is one of the most effective ways to combat hunger. Farming is the backbone of African economies, with 60% of the population relying on agriculture for their livelihoods. However, outdated farming methods, poor soil quality, and climate change have diminished crop yields. To address this, there’s a need for investment in more modern, efficient farming techniques that can adapt to local climates and soil conditions and that's exactly what Asante Aid is looking to implement for self-reliance.
